CJ Pindiga Condoles Borno Flood Victims, Applauds FG’s Swift Relief Response

Former Chief Judge of Gombe State, Justice Mu’azu Abdulkadir Pindiga, has extended his profound condolences to Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Borno State government, and the people of Borno following the recent catastrophic floods in Maiduguri, which claimed several lives and displaced many.

Justice Pindiga described the disaster as a tragic act of God and prayed for divine protection against future calamities. He urged the bereaved families to find strength through patience and faith, offering prayers for the souls of the deceased to attain Aljannatu Firdausi.

Speaking to journalists in Gombe, Justice Pindiga praised the federal government’s swift intervention, particularly the allocation of three billion naira in relief funds to support flood victims.

He commended the efforts of various state governors, lawmakers, philanthropists, and organizations for their contributions, and called on northern governors to emulate these gestures of compassion to ease the hardship of affected communities.

Justice Pindiga also applauded Gombe State Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya for his immediate response, which included a donation of one hundred million naira to assist flood victims, along with an additional fifty million naira for those affected by the recent attack in Mafa, Yobe State.

Highlighting the significance of unity and lawfulness, Justice Pindiga urged the people of Borno to support the policies of the current administration, stressing that maintaining peace and order is essential for societal progress and development.
