CSACEFA donates learning materials to Tudun Maliki Special School in Kano
Tudun Maliki special school in Kano received a heartwarming gesture from the Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEFA) as they donated essential learning materials.
The students were visibly delighted to receive the items, which has motivated them to redouble their efforts in their studies.
Dr. Auwal Halilu, the Coordinator of CSACEFA’s Kano state branch, shared that these donations were part of their commitment during the 2023 Global Action Week for Education (GAWE) to support inclusive education in the region.
“Their ultimate goal is to foster a sustainable and effective educational environment for all citizens” Halilu disclosed.
As part of the GAWE activities in Kano state, the challenges faced by various schools were assessed. Tudun Maliki Special School emerged as one with significant hurdles, particularly in terms of learning materials, medicines, and sanitary pads.
Hajiya Umma Musa Abubakar, the school’s principal, expressed her gratitude and acknowledged the government’s efforts to create an enabling environment for the students.
However, she emphasized that CSACEFA’s donations have significantly bridged the gap, addressing some of the educational challenges faced by the school.
With renewed hope and progress on the horizon, Hajiya Umma urged philanthropic individuals and Non-Governmental Organizations to extend further support to Tudun Maliki Special School.
“The collective efforts of all stakeholders can help create a brighter future for the students and promote inclusive education in the state.” Umma urged.
