…Visits Ailing Former LG Chairman in Kano

Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, on Saturday participated in a series of family and community engagements across the state, serving as marriage guardian (Waliyyi) at two wedding ceremonies and later paying a sympathy visit to an ailing former local government chairman.
The Deputy Governor first served as Waliyyi at the wedding of Fatima Shehu Aliyu, daughter of Hon. Shehu Aliyu Ungogo, former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano Central.
The wedding ceremony, held at the residence of the former APC chairman in Ungogo Local Government Area, drew family members, political associates, community leaders, and well-wishers who gathered to witness the solemnization of the marriage.

While giving out the bride in marriage, Alhaji Garo offered prayers for a successful and enduring union, urging the newly married couple to build their home on the foundations of mutual respect, understanding, patience, and the fear of God.
In a related development, the Deputy Governor also served as marriage guardian at the wedding of Aisha Uba Muhammad Danbayye, daughter of Hon. Uba Danbayye Ajingi, a former Chairman of Ajingi Local Government Area.
The wedding solemnization, held at the residence of the former council chairman, joined Aisha Uba Muhammad and Ibrahim Bala Abubakar in holy matrimony before relatives, traditional leaders, political stakeholders, and other dignitaries.

Speaking during the ceremony, Alhaji Garo congratulated the families of the bride and groom and prayed for Allah’s guidance and blessings upon the couple.
He described marriage as a sacred institution that requires commitment, patience, and responsibility, urging the newlyweds to uphold values that promote harmony and stability in the family.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor paid a sympathy visit to Alhaji Ibrahim Sale, former Chairman of Tarauni Local Government Area, who is currently receiving treatment following an illness.
During the visit, Alhaji Garo expressed concern over the former chairman’s health condition and prayed for his speedy recovery.
He reassured the family of the Kano State Government’s goodwill and support, noting that Alhaji Ibrahim Sale remains in the thoughts and prayers of friends, associates, and the wider community.
