Emir Bayero commends Kano Government’s support for Islamic education
The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has lauded the Kano State Government’s unwavering commitment to the advancement of Islamic schools in the region.
His commendation came during the recent graduation ceremony of twenty-eight students from Ma’ahad Tijjani Yola Litahfizul Qur’an Yola Quarters, located in the Municipal Local Government area of Kano State.
The Emir emphasized the paramount importance of Quranic education and stressed that its significance cannot be overstated. He urged the graduating students to continue their quest for knowledge, as he believes that a strong educational foundation is the bedrock of societal development.
The headmaster of Ma’ahad Tijjani Yola, Dr. Ishaq Tijjani, recounted the school’s humble beginnings in 2017, with only eight students.
However, he proudly announced that the school’s enrolment has now increased to one hundred and fifty-five students, with a team of dedicated teachers fostering academic excellence.
During the ceremony, Dr. Ishaq Tijjani expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, for gracing the event with his presence and unwavering support for the school’s growth and progress.
Speaking on behalf of the people of Yola Quarters and the school management, Madakin Kano, Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim Chigari, extended his gratitude to the Emir for his genuine concern for the development and welfare of his subjects.
He offered prayers for Allah’s continued guidance and blessings upon the Emir in his endeavors.
The graduation event attracted esteemed dignitaries, including Shiek Ibrahim Khalil, former Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Alhaji Aliko Shaaibu Muktar, and Alkali Ibrahim Sarki Yola, all of whom were delighted to be part of the celebration.
