A former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Gombe State, Hon. Ibrahim Dasuki Jalo Waziri, has reaffirmed his loyalty and support to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, saying he remains committed to strengthening unity and stability within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
In a statement issued by the Director General Press Affairs government House Ismaila Uba Misilli noted that Dasuki Waziri made the pledge on Monday during a courtesy visit to Governor Inuwa Yahaya at the Government House, Gombe.
The former commissioner, who once served as the National Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), commended the governor for what he described as purposeful leadership and remarkable achievements recorded under the current administration.
He said Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s style of leadership has continued to inspire confidence among party members and residents of the state.
According to him, the governor has demonstrated commitment to peace, development and inclusive governance, which, he noted, has contributed significantly to the progress of Gombe State.
“We are proud of your leadership and remain grateful for all that you continue to do for the progress, peace and development of our dear state,” Dasuki Waziri said.
He further assured the governor of his continued support and loyalty towards sustaining harmony and cohesion within the APC.
Responding, Governor Inuwa Yahaya expressed appreciation for the visit and the former commissioner’s words of encouragement and support.
The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, unity and the continued development of the state for the benefit of all citizens.
He urged political stakeholders and party members to continue working together in the interest of peace, stability and progress in Gombe State.
