On the occasion of the commencement of the New Islamic Year, 1448 AH, the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, extends warm felicitations to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and to the good people of Kano State, as well as the Muslim Ummah across the world.
As the Hijri calendar turns another page, may Allah Almighty continue to guide our leaders with wisdom, strengthen our communities with unity, bless our homes with tranquillity and our hearts with sincerity, and grant us the grace to pursue all that is pleasing to Him.
May He preserve our land in peace, place barakah in our collective efforts, forgive our shortcomings, and make 1448 AH a year marked by compassion, justice, mercy and enduring progress for Kano State and our nation.
May every passing day bring us closer to His pleasure and leave behind a legacy worthy of His acceptance.
