Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, has represented Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf at the funeral prayer (Janaza) of the mother of Hon. Auwal Lawan Shuaibu Aranponsu.
Hon. Auwal Lawan Shuaibu Aranponsu is the current Deputy Managing Director of the Kano Road and Traffic Agency (KAROTA) and a former Executive Chairman of Nasarawa Local Government Area.
The deceased passed away on Sunday, with the funeral prayer held behind Gwagwarwa Police Station Brigade, Kano and the deceased was buried at Ahmadiyya Cemetery.
The Deputy Governor conveyed Governor Yusuf’s condolences to the bereaved family, praying Allah to forgive the deceased and grant her eternal rest.
He also prayed Allah to grant the family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
The funeral prayer was attended by government officials, political associates, community members and other sympathisers who joined the family in paying their last respects.
