Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, has represented Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf at the funeral prayer for late Fa’iza Usman Yahaya Kansila.
The funeral prayer was held today at Alfurqan Juma’at Mosque, and was led by Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil.
The deceased was the wife of Alhaji Usman Yahaya Kansila, Chairman of UYK Nigeria Limited.
She died on Thursday in Turkey at the age of 45.
The late Fa’iza Usman Yahaya is survived by her husband and five children.
Speaking at the funeral, Deputy Governor Garo prayed for Allah to forgive the deceased and grant her family the strength to bear the loss.
He also conveyed the condolences of the Kano State Government to the family, praying for Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest.
