Gov Abba Commended for Appointing Malumfashi As Higher Education Commissioner

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has been commended for appointing Professor Sani Lawal Malumfashi as Commissioner for Higher Education.

Yahya said the commendation was made by former State Assembly member and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Madobi Local Government, Hon. Habib El-Yakub, during the assumption of office of Professor Malumfashi on Tuesday.
El-Yakub stated that the track record of Sani Lawal Malumfashi in previous positions he had held clearly indicated that the Ministry of Higher Education has gotten someone equal to the task.
In his maiden address to the gathering, Professor Sani Lawal Malumfashi solicited the support and cooperation of staff and political associates to achieve the desired objective.
Malumfashi appreciated the Executive Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, for considering him worthy of the appointment and assured that he would do his best to justify the confidence reposed in him.
He urged the gathering and the people of the state to pray for them to succeed in taking the state to higher level of development, particularly in the education sector.
