Gov. Yusuf approves appointment of special advisers
The Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointment of some individuals as his Special Advisers on various fields.
This was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Tuesday.
Among the newly appointed Special Advisers is Col. Abubakar Usman Garin Malam (Rtd.), who will serve as the Special Adviser for Disaster Management.
Also included in the appointments are Malam Usamatu Salga as the Special Adviser for Religious Affairs I, and Hon. Abduljabbar Muhammad Umar as the Special Adviser for Investment and Public Private Partnership.
Furthermore, Hon. Aminu Abba Ibrahim has been appointed as the Special Adviser for Solid Minerals, Engr. Nura Hussain as the Special Adviser for Commerce, and Hon. Jamilu Abbas as the Special Adviser for Cooperative Groups.
Other appointments include Hon. Muhammad Jamu Yusuf as the Special Adviser for National and International Public Relations, and Balarabe Ibrahim Gaya as the Special Adviser for Special Intervention Programs.
Rt. Hon. Isyaku Ali Danja has also been appointed as the Special Adviser for Assembly Matters, Comrade Baffa Sani Gaya as the Special Adviser for Labour Matters, and Engr. Abdullahi Shehu as the Special Adviser for Environmental Sanitation.
Hon. Umar Musa Gama will serve as the Special Adviser for the School Feeding Programme, Hon. Habibu Hassan Elyakub as the Special Adviser for Vocational Education Development, and Hon. Jamilu Abubakar Dambatta as the Special Adviser for Publicity.
Lastly, Hon. Umar Uba Akawu will assume the role of Special Adviser for the Abuja Liaison Office.
The Governor emphasized that all appointments will take immediate effect.
