Gov Yusuf Felicitates Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo @48

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has felicitated with Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, Founder of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN), on the occasion of his 48th birthday anniversary.
In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa,the governor described Prof.Gwarzo as “a distinguished Eduprenuer, an erudite scholar and a pillar of private higher education in Nigeria and West Africa.”
Governor Yusuf praised Professor Gwarzo’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to educational excellence, noting that his investments in education had provided quality learning opportunities for thousands of young people within and outside the country.
He said the establishment of Maryam Abacha American University reflects Prof. Gwarzo’s belief in knowledge as a tool for societal transformation, innovation, and sustainable development, adding that the institution had continued to uphold global standards in teaching, research, and character development.
The governor further commended the celebrant for his contributions to human capital development, peace-building, and youth empowerment, stressing that his achievements had earned him respect both nationally and internationally.
Governor Yusuf prayed Almighty Allah to grant Professor Gwarzo good health, long life and renewed strength to continue serving humanity and contributing meaningfully to the advancement of education.
