Gov Zulum Commissions 500 Houses to Resettle 10 Communities in Borno

Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has commissioned 500 houses in Nguro-Soye, Bama Local Government Area, to resettle 10 communities displaced by the decade-long insurgency in the state.
The resettlement scheme, benefiting over 1,100 households, includes essential public facilities such as healthcare centers, schools, water facilities, and other basic amenities.
During the commissioning, Governor Zulum reaffirmed his commitment to rebuilding Borno and pledged to close all Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps by 2026, insha Allah.
The Governor highlighted ongoing reconstruction projects across the state, including the rebuilding of Bama township, Banki, Nguro-Soye, Mallam Chelumri, Tarmua Town, Kumshe, Mayanti, and Bula Yobe. These efforts aim to resettle IDPs and rebuild a stronger Borno within a short time by the will of Almighty Allah.
