Hon. Fahad Adamu Muhammad Dankabo, one of the leading contenders for the Gwarzo/Kabo Federal Constituency seat under the platform of the APC, has declared his support for the party’s consensus candidate, Hon. Abdullahi Muazu Babangandu.
Dankabo made the declaration on Tuesday in his hometown, Kabo LGA, during a political gathering attended by his supporters and well-wishers from across the constituency.
He sympathized with his supporters over the outcome of the race and assured them that he would fully shoulder the responsibility of the situation in the interest of respecting the decision of the mother party, APC.
Dankabo stated that it was necessary for all party members and supporters to celebrate and support Hon. Abdullahi Muazu Babangandu for securing the Gwarzo/Kabo Federal Constituency ticket.
He explained that he had been entrusted with the responsibility of safeguarding and supporting the blueprint of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and Deputy Senate President Barau I. Jibrin.
Dankabo praised Sen. Barau Jibrin for the support and encouragement he had consistently shown him over the years.
“I urge you all to vote for Sen. Barau and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, especially for his Kano First Agenda,” he said.
Dankabo further revealed that Governor Yusuf has plans to boost the economic status of Kano State through industrial revolution across the 44 local government areas by establishing factories aimed at curbing unemployment.
Speaking on President Tinubu, Dankabo said Nigerians should continue to support him because of his vision towards stabilizing and overhauling the nation’s economy.
“More patience is required during the overhaul before the economic results become visible,” he added.
Dankabo also assured supporters that his philanthropic activities across Gwarzo and Kabo would continue, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare, adding that such interventions would even be expanded.
“We will inaugurate a committee that will handle the payment of registration fees for university students,” he stated.
He stressed that they had resolved to liberate Kabo Local Government Area from what he described as “political slavery,” insisting that the political system should serve the people.
Dankabo, however, commended the Executive Chairman of Kabo LGA for his various empowerment programmes, while urging him to place greater focus on the development of the education and health sectors, as well as improving the economic status of the local government area.
