Hon. Fahad Muhammad Adamu Dankabo, a renowned philanthropist in Kano State, has revealed that his style of politics is the “servant-leader” pattern, rather than the conventional “leader-servant” approach.
Hon. Dankabo made this known on Thursday at the APC Secretariats in Kabo and Gwarzo Local Government Areas, respectively, where he submitted his letter of expression of interest to contest for the Gwarzo/Kabo Federal House of Representatives seat.
He explained that his political journey over the past two years has not been driven by the pursuit of worldly gains, but by a genuine desire to serve the people wholeheartedly.
The aspirant further stated that his motivation to contest stems from his commitment to serve the people of Gwarzo/Kabo Federal Constituency and improve their living standards.
“We are here to serve the people and to urge for unity in the party, Kano State, and the nation at large,” he said.
Hon. Fahad also noted that his late father, Alhaji Adamu Dankabo (Jarman Kano), a renowned philanthropist, remains a pillar of humanitarian support in the state.
He pledged to sustain and build upon the legacy left behind by his father, adding that he has been raised on the values of giving back to society for development.
He expressed appreciation to the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau I. Jibrin, for supporting efforts to revive the legacy of his late father, as well as the APC executives in Kabo and Gwarzo LGAs for the warm reception accorded him.
Speaking earlier, his Campaign Director, Abdussamad stated that, in line with political tradition, the team visited the secretariats to formally introduce their candidate and declare his intention to join the race for the Kabo/Gwarzo Federal Constituency seat.
He added that since the passing of Alhaji Adamu Dankabo (Jarman Kano), Hon. Fahad has continued to sustain his father’s philanthropic legacy through various initiatives.
“Fahad has sustained sponsorship of students, provision of fertilizers to farmers, employment opportunities for youths, and food support for the needy, among several other interventions,” he said.
Also speaking, Hon. Fahad’s Director-General, Media, Aliyu Maiwake Garo, confirmed that the letter of interest had been submitted, adding that the next steps include the purchase of nomination forms and participation in either consensus arrangements or party primaries, as the case may be.
He noted that education remains a top priority for Hon. Fahad, stressing that a well-educated society is better positioned for progress and free from social vices.

In their separate remarks, the APC Chairmen of Gwarzo and Kabo LGAs expressed delight over his declaration of interest, describing him as a true son of the soil whose aspiration reflects his commitment to the development of the constituency.
They commended his late father for his selfless service to humanity and prayed for the repose of his soul.
The party chairmen assured that due process would be followed in accommodating all aspirants in line with the party’s constitution.
In a related development, Hon. Fahad also submitted his letter of interest to the State APC Executive Committee, where he was received by the party’s secretary, Prof. Yusuf Sabo-Bichi alongside other principal officers.

He further urged Hon. Fahad to sustain his father’s legacy in the service of humanity.
