From Sani Gazas Chinade, Damaturu
The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has commended the newly appointed Acting Secretary to the Yobe State Government, Dr. Mohammed Goje, for his commitment, competence, and dedication to advancing the people-oriented policies and programmes of Governor Mai Mala Buni.
In a press statement signed by the National President of the association, Hon. Khalid Muhammad Bello, KACRAN noted that Dr. Goje’s appointment has continued to attract positive reactions across Damaturu and other parts of Yobe State.
According to the association, those familiar with Dr. Goje’s performance as former Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) view his appointment as timely and well-deserved.
KACRAN stated that during his time at SEMA, Dr. Goje demonstrated leadership, commitment, and compassion, particularly in coordinating support for victims of flooding in Maiduguri and parts of Yobe State.
The association also observed that Dr. Goje’s assumption of office as Acting SSG attracted wide participation from Permanent Secretaries, Directors, traditional representatives, Special Advisers, security personnel, members of the media, SEMA staff, and other well-wishers.
“KACRAN is impressed by the smooth transition and the positive energy Dr. Goje has brought to the Office of the SSG,” Hon. Khalid Muhammad Bello said. “From his remarks during the handover ceremony to his engagements within the first week in office, he has shown readiness to support the effective implementation of Governor Buni’s policies and programmes.”
The association added that Dr. Goje’s previous experience working closely with the Governor’s Office and the immediate past SSG, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, has positioned him well for the responsibility of coordinating government activities.
It further noted that his consultative engagements with Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Directors, and other stakeholders have strengthened public confidence in his ability to deliver.
KACRAN also commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for appointing what it described as a committed and experienced public servant dedicated to serving the people of Yobe State.
The association equally praised the Yobe State Head of Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa Shehu, for efforts aimed at improving the state civil service through training and capacity-building programmes.
It described the ongoing training of Yobe State teachers in Kaduna as a positive step toward improving educational standards in the state.
KACRAN reaffirmed its support for policies and initiatives that promote good governance, security, and the welfare of pastoralists and residents of Yobe State, while pledging continued collaboration with the state government toward achieving these objectives.
