KACRAN Commends Tinubu’s Livestock Sector Reforms

The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for establishing the Ministry of Livestock Development and the Presidential Livestock Reforms Committee.

KACRAN President Khalil Mohd Bello in a statement made Available to journalist in Damaturu on Monday,praised the appointments of Alhaji Idi Mukhtar Maiha as Minister and Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega as National Adviser/Committee Co-Chairman.

The association highlighted Minister Maiha’s practical farming experience and Professor Jega’s crucial role in designing the ministry and engaging state governors.

KACRAN noted early achievements including the successful Pasture Planting Day event and World Milk Day celebration, which promoted sustainable practices and local dairy potential.

While calling the appointments a “blessing,” KACRAN appealed for necessary financial resources, administrative support, and moral backing to fully realize the President’s vision for the livestock sector.
