Kano APC chieftain accuses Tinubu of unfair to north
By News Desk
A political critic in Kano, Abdulmajid Danbilki Commander, has accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of being unfair to Northerners, stating that his administration has brought untold hardship to the region.
Danbilki Commander voiced his concerns in a video uploaded on his TikTok handle, where he criticized Tinubu’s policies, particularly their impact on the economy.
He lamented that under Tinubu’s administration, the prices of essential commodities have skyrocketed. He compared the cost of a bag of rice, which was N26,000 during former President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure, to its current price of N96,000.
Danbilki urged President Tinubu to take urgent steps to address the economic hardship affecting Nigerians before the 2027 general elections.
He also criticized Northern appointees in Tinubu’s government, arguing that despite their numbers, they have failed to protect the interests of the North due to personal ambitions.
He reminded these political appointees that power is transient, emphasizing the need for them to use their positions to bring meaningful development to the North before their tenure ends.
Furthermore, Danbilki reaffirmed his support for Naja’atu Muhammad’s stance, insisting that she would not retract her statements despite threats of legal action. He expressed confidence in the judiciary’s ability to deliver justice to those who deserve it.
