The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, on Wednesday received representatives of the Forum of Government Agencies and Parastatals during a courtesy visit held at his office in Kano.
This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen by Na’ima Musa Umar, the Ag. Public Relations Officer (PRO) Office Of The Deputy Governor on Wednesday.
According to the statement, Deputy Governor Garo appreciated the representatives for the visit and emphasized importance of sustained collaboration among government institutions in enhancing effective service delivery and administrative cohesion.
He noted that the present administration would continue to pursue purposeful leadership, constructive engagement across public establishments, and policies aimed at improving governance and the overall wellbeing of the people of Kano State.
Speaking earlier, the representatives, led by Alhaji Tukur Bala Sagagi, said the visit was to congratulate the Deputy Governor on his assumption of office and to extend goodwill following his swearing-in.
Alhaji Tukur further described the Deputy Governor as a public servant distinguished by administrative composure, political maturity, and a strong connection with grassroots governance, qualities he said continue to inspire confidence across public institutions in the state.
They Forum expressed optimism that the present administration would encourage deeper institutional cooperation, improve operational coordination among agencies, and sustain governance anchored on public interest and collective responsibility.
Also in attendance were the Managing Director of Kano State Radio Corporation, Abubakar Adamu Rano; the Executive Secretary of Kano State Health Trust Fund, Dr. Fatima Usman Zahradeen; and the Executive Secretary of the Kano State Contributory Health Care Management Agency, Dr. Rahila Aliyu Mukhtar, the Managing Director of Abubakar Rimi Television (ARTV), Hauwa Isa Ibrahim and The Managing Director of Kano State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (KNARDA), Dr. Faruk Kurawa among others.
