Kano Deputy Governor to Celebrate 65th Birthday in Hometown with Special Prayers

The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, will mark his 65th birthday this Friday with a special prayer session at the Gwarzo Central Mosque, seeking divine guidance and blessings for Kano State and Nigeria.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, his spokesperson, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, said the Deputy Governor has chosen to observe the occasion in a low-key manner to reflect his humility and unwavering commitment to serving the people.

According to him, Comrade Gwarzo, who will turn 65 on Thursday, November 6, 2025, has scheduled the modest celebration to hold on Friday.

The statement further noted that Comrade Gwarzo will spend the day with his primary school classmates, childhood friends, orphans, and community leaders. Together, they will offer prayers and express gratitude to God for His protection and blessings over the years.

He has directed that no lavish party or public event be organized in his honour. Instead, he urged well-wishers to demonstrate love by assisting the less privileged and supporting charitable causes.

Comrade Gwarzo, a former labour leader and grassroots politician, is widely known for his simplicity, honesty, and dedication to the service of humanity.
