Kano Gov. condoles with families of late Imam Galadanchi

The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf has described the death of Alhaji Imam Galadanchi as an immense loss not only for his family but for Kano community and beyond.

Recall that the elder state man died last Friday at a London Based Hospital after a protracted illiness.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Kano State governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa on Friday.

The Governor disclosed that the state will undergo an extended period of mourning due to the void left by the passing of Alhaji Imam Galadanchi, which poses a formidable challenge to find a suitable replacement.

The Governor, while praying for the repose of the soul of Galadanchi also prayed for the family to have the fortitude to bear with the irreparable loss.

Imam Galanchi was the father In-law of the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar and the Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero.
