Kano Pilgrims Welfare Board DG Gets Appreciation Award From Immigration Service

The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, has received an Award of Appreciation in recognition of his dedication and commitment to supporting the activities of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Passport Control Office, Farm Centre, Kano.

The award was presented in appreciation of the Director General’s consistent efforts and commitment to assisting pilgrims in obtaining their international passports without unnecessary difficulties or delays.
Speaking during the presentation, the Passport Control Officer, Farm Centre, Kano, Alhaji Aliyu Hamisu Nguroje, commended Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle for his exceptional commitment to the welfare of pilgrims.
He noted that, during the last Hajj exercise, the Director General demonstrated remarkable dedication to ensuring that pilgrims received the necessary assistance throughout the passport application process.
Alhaji Aliyu Hamisu Nguroje further assured the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board that the Immigration Passport Control Office, Farm Centre, would continue to do everything possible to facilitate the smooth and timely processing of passports for pilgrims and prevent unnecessary delays.
Responding, the Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, expressed his appreciation to the Nigeria Immigration Service for the recognition.
He described the award as an encouragement to continue working diligently towards improving the welfare and overall experience of pilgrims from Kano State.
Alhaji Abubakar Matawalle reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to strengthening its collaboration with relevant government agencies, particularly the Nigeria Immigration Service, to ensure that pilgrims receive efficient and timely services.
He thanked the Passport Control Office, Farm Centre, Kano, for the honour and pledged to sustain the Board’s efforts towards facilitating a smooth pilgrimage process for the people of Kano State.
