KHAIRUN VC Joins Private Varsities’ Leaders To Advance Education In Kano State

The Vice-Chancellor of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), Professor Abdulrashid Garba, has participated in the meeting of the Forum of Vice-Chancellors of Private Universities in Kano State, hosted by Azman University, Kano.
A statement issued by Jibril Ado Dandawaki, Acting Director,
Public Relations, Media and Internal Affairs,KHAIRUN, said the strategic meeting brought together Vice-Chancellors and representatives of private universities across the state to deliberate on issues of common interest aimed at strengthening the quality of higher education, fostering institutional collaboration, and addressing emerging challenges within the university system.
Among the institutions represented at the meeting were Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila, Baba Ahmed University, Kano, Capital City University, Kano, Skyline University Nigeria, and the host institution, Azman University, Kano.
The forum provided a valuable platform for academic leaders to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore opportunities for partnership in areas of research, innovation, quality assurance, staff development, student welfare, and community engagement.
Speaking during the engagement, the participants reaffirmed their collective commitment to promoting academic excellence, strengthening institutional governance, and contributing meaningfully to the advancement of tertiary education in Kano State and Nigeria.
The participation of the KHAIRUN Vice-Chancellor underscores the University’s dedication to collaboration, continuous improvement, and active involvement in initiatives that enhance the quality and competitiveness of higher education.
The Forum of Vice-Chancellors of Private Universities in Kano State (FVCPUK) continues to serve as an important platform for fostering unity, cooperation, and shared progress among private universities, while supporting efforts geared towards producing globally competitive graduates and sustainable educational development,the statement added.
