KMC-KAYI Microfinance Bank Headquarters Launched In Kano, Aims To Expand Financial Inclusion

The KMC Microfinance Bank has unveiled its innovative KMC-KAYI APP in Kano, marking a significant step toward transforming financial transactions and accessibility to financial services within the community.

Launched by the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, on Thursday, the KMC-KAYI APP has a primary objective of addressing the needs of the unbanked and underbanked populations, ensuring they have access to financial services that were previously beyond their reach.

Abdulganiyu Rufa’i, the Product Lead of the KMC-KAYI APP, highlighted its inclusive approach by stating, “This device also caters to the diaspora community, offering cutting-edge cross-border payment solutions and modern banking services for urban professionals.”

One of the standout features of the KMC-KAYI APP is its lightning-fast transaction capabilities, powered by the bank’s cutting-edge ML server architecture. This ensures customers can send and receive money with unparalleled speed and reliability, revolutionizing the way financial transactions occur.

Rufa’i emphasized, “KMC-KAYI is not just the future of finance; it is where innovation meets accessibility, and where security meets convenience.”

The Emir of Kano praised the initiative, stating that the KMC-KAYI APP would significantly contribute to the growth and development of Kano State and Nigeria as a whole. He underlined Kano’s status as a commercial hub and the importance of such facilities in supporting small businesses and services.

Furthermore, the Emir expressed his delight at the KMC Microfinance Bank’s nationwide recruitment of young graduates, with over 1,000 male and female graduates employed in Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, and Kaduna states.

He encouraged the Kano business community to embrace the KMC-KAYI APP, seeing it as an opportunity to enhance their business and trading endeavors.

Notable attendees at the launch event included the Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero, and prominent business figure Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who was represented by his son, Alhaji Tajuddeen Aminu Dantata, along with other members of the Kano business community.
