KNSG Congratulates New MHWUN Leadership, Urges Innovation/Fairness

The Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated the newly elected leadership of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Kano State Chapter.

The election, which saw Comrade Babangida Musa emerge as Chairman, has been lauded as a positive step towards the advancement of healthcare delivery in the state.

In his congratulatory message, Governor Yusuf expressed confidence in the ability of the new leadership to drive the union forward, emphasizing the need for innovative approaches to address the challenges facing healthcare workers.

Represented by his Deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, while receiving the new EXCOs in his office on Wednesday night.

In a statement issued to newsmen by Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, The Deputy Governor’s spokesperson, He notes Governor Yusuf further encouraged the union to prioritize fairness in their dealings, ensuring that all members are treated equally and with respect.

Governor Yusuf reiterated the state government’s commitment to supporting the union’s efforts to improve healthcare services in Kano and looked forward to a collaborative partnership with the new leadership.
