Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has reiterated his government’s commitment to partner with private investors so as to promote and develop various sports infrastructure for the benefit of the teeming youth across the state.
The chairman of Kano state Sports Commission, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Babangida made the statement on behalf of the governor during the commissioning of a new football pitch by the proprietress of Breakthrough Football Academy, Hidaa Ahmad Gardar held at Gunduwawa in Gezawa local government of the state.
According to him, government is ready to partner with private investors within and outside the state towards promoting, developing and supporting teeming athletes to excel at various sporting events.
The chairman added that the state is blessed with abundant hidden talents that need encouragement and support to excel.
While commending Gardar for her vision, foresight, commitment and dedication, especially in providing such facilities, he charged the teeming younger footballers to utilize it to improve their skills and talents to seek greener pastures.
The chairman was accompanied by Alhaji Bashir Dantata, Dan Masanin Kano and other distinguished guests of the Lebanese extraction at the commissioning ceremony.
