KSSSSMB ES Meets With Zonal Education Directors

The Executive Secretary,Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board Honorable Rabi’u Sale Gwarzo, has held a periodic meeting with Zonal Education Directors aimed at strengthening the administration and management of secondary education across Kano State.

The meeting gave participants a chance to look at how schools are performing across the different zones and to complement ongoing education reforms being carried out by the state government aimed at improving teaching and learning in the state.
Speaking at the meeting, the Executive Secretary stressed the importance of strong supervision, accountability, and teamwork among education stakeholders in ensuring quality education delivery. He encouraged the directors to step up monitoring of schools and provide timely feedback on challenges affecting academic activities.
The Executive Secretary also lauded Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his education-focused policies and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to strengthening the education sector through sustained support for schools and the provision of a conducive learning environment.
Speaking shortly after the meeting, the Director, Gwale Education Directorate, Malam Ibrahim Yakubu Idris, commended the Executive Secretary for reinstating the periodic meeting with Zonal Directors, describing it as a timely and welcome development.
He said the forum provides a platform for direct engagement with the Executive Secretary and management team to discuss challenges, share ideas, and identify key areas calling for further attention by the Board.
