Nigeria Needs Transfer of Technology, Not Troops – By Na’ im Sulaiman AJ

Nigeria’s path to sustainable stability and growth lies not in the deployment of military might, but in the strategic transfer of technology and knowledge. While security interventions may address immediate threats, they rarely resolve the underlying causes of insecurity unemployment, poverty, and technological dependence.

A forward-looking approach would emphasize capacity building, technological innovation, and industrial self-reliance. By investing in technology transfer partnerships, vocational training, and local manufacturing ecosystems, Nigeria can strengthen its economy, empower its youth, and reduce the structural vulnerabilities that often fuel unrest.

In essence, what Nigeria needs is technology, training, and transformation not troops. The future of national security and prosperity will be determined not by the number of soldiers in the field, but by the strength of Nigeria’s technological and human capital.

War knows no religion, tribe, or region. Both Muslims and Christians in Nigeria must rise above the geopolitical agendas that seek to divide us. Our unity as a people is stronger than any political manipulation. True progress will only come when we stand together not as Muslims or Christians, but as Nigerians committed to peace, justice, and nation-building. Let us reject hatred, expose those who profit from division, and work hand in hand to build a country where faith is a source of strength, not conflict.

May unity and prosperity forever flourish in Nigeria.
