Nominating Bello M. Goronyo for minister: A rekindle of youths’ hope

President Chief Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu deserved commendation for the nomination of Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo for a minister to rekindle the hope Nigerian Youths. 

The United Nations Development Programme, UNDP mandate requires the inclusion of youths and women in politics to strengthen the bond of democracy, to empower and create space for youths and gender for good governance.

However, the United Nations’ goal 4 recommend that for a country to develop it must include youths in the government machinery to achieve the global vision 2030.

To achieve the vision of eliminating poverty and achieve sustainable economic growth and human development, the UNDP mandate requires the input of youths to accelerate national growth in governance.

The young Bello Muhammad who served as the Commissioner of Information in the previous government of Aminu Waziri Tambuwal had many feathers to his cap as a Barrister, a politician with versatile knowledge in political campaign strategy and human development.

Making Barrister Muhammad Goronyo a minister will give youths voice in the Tinubu’s government and champion the course of youths’ political development within the periscope of UNDP and the Sustainable Development Goal 4.

With 70% of youths’ population and 64% of unemployed youths in Nigeria, Barrister Bello and other integrated youths in the Tinubu’s government will help in improving youths’ welfare and prospect in the country.

While, indeed it is a nomination for the people of Sokoto state but it is going to be a benefit for the North-West and Nigeria. Selecting Honourable Muhammad Bello for a minister is on merit and for benefit for the country and the people.

With quantum of knowledge in various fields of human development, political mobilization and national growth, Barrister Muhammad Bello deserved a good portfolio that will grease the engine of lubricating Nigeria’s progress and development, and as we wait for senate screening and confirmation of Barrister Muhammad Bello Goronyo to be a minister in president Tinubu’s cabinet, Nigeria’s progress is sacrosanct and President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu success is momentous for eight years.
