President Trump’s Commendation Showcases Tinubu’s Efforts To Secure Nigeria, Says Musa Kwankwaso

A Frontline Stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Kano State,Dr.Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, has described President Donald Trump’s commendation of President Bola Tinubu over his efforts to secure Nigeria as a welcome development.
Kwankwaso,in a statement he personally signed and distributed to journalists in Kano on Friday, said President Trump’s praise alongside other global commendations of Tinubu further showcase the President’s efforts to address the security challenges facing Nigeria.
“You can see that President Tinubu has earned great commendations from President Trump on his fight against insecurity, this is clearly an open fact that Nigeria today is getting it right.I therefore call on all patriotic Nigerians to support the Federal Government in its efforts to secure the country.
“Another gesture which indicates the President’s determination to address the security challenges is the approval he has given for the expansion of the number of the Nigerian Army divisions from 8 to 12,” the APC Stalwart said.
The Special Adviser to the President, (Information & Strategy), Mr. Bayo Onanuga, had announced in a statement that President Bola Tinubu had approved the expansion of the Nigerian Army’s structure from eight to twelve divisions—”a landmark move to enhance the country’s security architecture and improve the operational effectiveness of the Nigerian Army.”
Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, who is also the Director Finance Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority(HJRBDA), pointed out that the approval underscores the President’s unwavering commitment to equipping the Armed Forces to address Nigeria’s evolving security challenges effectively and to further strengthen our national defence capabilities.
He assured Nigerians that sooner than later, citizens would be traveling freely to and from all parts of the country without fear of any attacks.
He commended the National Security Adviser,Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Ministers of Defence,Gen.Christopher Musa and Bello Matawale, and all the Service Chiefs for their unwavering efforts in strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture.
“Nigerians should appreciate and pray for these gentlemen for their total commitment in securing the country and freeing the citizens from the shackles of Insecurity,” Kwankwaso said.
He then called on the opposition to “stop their baseless attacks on the Government and joint hands with the President in his sustained efforts to secure the country.”
