Prime Time News Publisher, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, Bags Traditional Title of Dan Malikin Shanono

The CEO and Publisher of Prime Time News, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, has been conferred with the traditional title of Dan Malikin Shanono in Kano State.

Shuaibu, who currently serves as the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Kano State, was honored with the title in recognition of his contributions to journalism, public service, and community development.

The prestigious title was bestowed upon him on Sunday by the Village Head of Shanono, Alhaji Kabiru Isyaku, in appreciation of his influence and commitment to societal progress through the media.

Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Area, Dr. Mani Tsoho, expressed gratitude to the Village Head of Shanono for conferring the title on Shuaibu. He also extended appreciation to all the guests who attended the turbaning ceremony.

In his reaction, Shuaibu thanked the Emirate for recognizing his efforts and pledged to continue serving both his profession and the community with dedication.

The event was graced by dignitaries, media professionals, and well-wishers who came to celebrate the journalist-turned-public official’s achievement. His elevation to a traditional leadership position brings out the increasing role of media practitioners in governance and community affairs.

The Shanono Local Government Chairman was represented at the event by the Education Secretary of the local government, Alhaji Hamza Muhammad.

Also in attendance were the Senior Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor on Political Affairs, Muhammad Garba; the Chief Security Officer to the Governor, ASP Aminu Abdullahi Gwarzo; the Chief Imam of Gwarzo; and his deputy, Usman Balarabe.
