The President of the MAAUN Group of Universities, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has congratulated former Kano State Governor and New Nigeria Development Congress (NDC) vice-presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on the occasion of his 70th birthday, commending his contributions to education and human development in Kano State.
Professor Gwarzo described Kwankwaso as a leader who has made significant investments in the development of Kano State, particularly through scholarship opportunities and initiatives aimed at empowering young people and expanding access to education.
Gwarzo conveyed his congratulatory message in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists, noting that Kwankwaso’s interventions in education and human capital development would remain an important part of Kano State’s history.
“You have invested heavily in education and human development through scholarship opportunities, giving many people access to education and creating pathways for a better future. The history of Kano State will remember these immense contributions to the lives of its people,” Gwarzo said.
He added that Kwankwaso’s commitment to education and the development of human capital was worthy of emulation by progressive-minded politicians who aspire to make a lasting impact on society.
According to him, investing in people, particularly through education, remains one of the most effective ways to promote sustainable development and create opportunities for future generations.
“As you celebrate this remarkable milestone of 70 years, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you good health, renewed strength, wisdom and many more years of meaningful service to humanity.
“On behalf of my family and the entire MAAUN Group of Universities, I wish you a happy 70th birthday and many happy returns,” he said.
