Project Trust: Jigawa communitie’s vows to collaborates with CODE on projects monitoring

As part of effort to strengthen community participation, project tracking and Inclusion of People with Disability, the ‘ProjectTrust’ through Connected Development (CODE) have conducted a community outreach in some selected Commuties in Jigawa state.

Speaking during the visit, the CODE’s State Support Officer, comrade Adam Sulaiman explained that, the purposes of the visit is to create more rapport between project trust team and Engage with community members, leaders, other stakeholders

Comrade Adam maintained that, during the visit the team engaged community members on tracking and Monitoring projects as well as to keep a close eye on various new and ongoing projects both constituency projects, zonal Intervention projects and projects executed by SUBEB.

While responding to the team, some residents of Doko Community area of Garki local government under the umbrella of Doko Ina mafita Association decried abandonment of township road, solar water borehole and inadequate of classroom as their major challenges.

On their part, the Kubayo community members in Kiri-kasamma local government identified lack of hospital and embankment as their major challenges as every rainy season flooding threatening their lives.

Also the Kila community members in under the umbrella of Voice of Kila identified abandonment of library construction, water solar borehole and Kila to Rahma road as their major challenges.
