Sallah: Katsina Environment Commissioner Hamza Sulaiman Distributes Over N25m to Funtua Zone

The Commissioner for Environment under the Governor Dikko Radda-led administration in Katsina State, Hon. Hamza Sulaiman Wamban Faskari, has distributed over N25 million to various local government areas within the Funtua Zone as Sallah gesture.
PRIME TIME NEWS gathered the Local Governments include Faskari, Sabuwa, Dandume, Funtua, Kankara, Malumfashi, and other neighboring areas within the Funtua Zone as well as some associations also benefitted from the gesture.
Earlier, the Commissioner had distributed N7 million on the eve of Eid to the people of Faskari for the purchase of Sallah meat. On the event of Sallah, he further gave an additional N5.6 million to the people of Faskari as part of the Eid celebration package.
The Commissioner also gave N3 million to the people of Sabuwa Local Government when they visited him at his residence in Faskari to extend Sallah greetings.
Similarly, he gave N500,000 each to the people of Dandume and Funtua LGAs during their Sallah visits to him.
The residents of Malumfashi and Kankara LGAs, who also paid Sallah homage to him, received N500,000 each.
Additionally, several associations received N2 million each, while others received N500,000. He also gave financial assistance to the sick for medical treatment. Among them was a beneficiary who received N350,000, others received N200,000, while some got N100,000 each.
PRIME TIME NEWS reports that it is the Commissioner’s tradition to return to his hometown during every Sallah to celebrate with the people and extend such generous acts as a gesture of compassion and solidarity.
