Sen.Aminu Iya Abbas Picks APC Governorship Nomination Form, Unveils Vision For Stronger Adamawa

Senator Aminu Iya Abbas (Adamawa Central ) and Chairman Senate Committee on Science and Technology, a leading aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship race in Adamawa State, has officially obtained his nomination form, signaling a decisive step toward his ambition to lead the state.

Speaking shortly after picking the document on Wednesday in Abuja, Senator Abbas reaffirmed his commitment to delivering purposeful leadership anchored on continuity, consolidation, and integrated development.
He emphasized that his vision is guided by a comprehensive framework known as the Adamawa Integrated Agenda (AIA).
According to the Senator, the AIA is designed to build on existing gains achieved by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri administration while introducing innovative policies that will accelerate economic growth, strengthen institutions, and improve the quality of life for all citizens across the state.
“Our mission is clear to consolidate on the progress already made by the current Fresh Air administration, ensure continuity in people-oriented governance, and drive integrated development that touches every sector and every community in Adamawa,” he stated.
Senator Abbas highlighted key pillars of his agenda to include:
Education and healthcare system strengthening,Agricultural transformation and rural development,Infrastructure expansion and urban renewal,Security enhancement and community resilience,Sustainable economic development and job creation,Youth empowerment and women inclusion
He assured party members and the people of Adamawa State that if elected,his administration would be inclusive, transparent, and results-driven.
The frontline aspirant also called on APC stakeholders and supporters to remain united and focused ahead of the primaries, stressing that collective effort is essential to securing victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.
“This is not just a personal ambition; it is a shared vision for a better Adamawa. Together, we will continue to build a state that works for everyone,” he added.
