Sokoto LP, Obedient Movement Commends Senator Nenadi’s Appointment as Party Chair

The leadership of the Sokoto State Stakeholders  of the Labour Party (LP) and the Obedient Movement in the state and Northern region has congratulated Senator Nenadi Esther Usman, the newly appointed Interim Chairperson of the Caretaker Committee of the Labour Party.

According to a statement by Comrade Abubakar Yawale, he disclosed Senator Nenadi emerged as leader of the party on 4th sep 2024 at Umuahia NEC/Extended Stakeholders Meeting hosted By His Excellency Alex Oti and His Excellency Peter Obi.

Under the leadership of Chief Ifeanyi Ezeagu, leader of Sokoto State Labour & Obedient Movement, the Governorship Candidate Com.Aminu Umar along with other critical stakeholders and Labour Party supporters in Sokoto, they described Senator Nenadi’s selection as the best choice for the party, expressing confidence in her ability to exceed expectations.

Speaking on behalf of the party Stakeholders in the state, Comrade Abubakar Yawale commended the National Executive Council head by the Abia State Governor H.E.Alex Oti and H.E.Peter Obi and other critical Stakeholders for choosing Senator Nenadi, expressing optimism that her leadership will lead the party to victory in upcoming elections and functions.

The leadership also congratulated Dr. Yunusa Tanko on his appointment as the National Coordinator of the Obedient Movement worldwide, recognizing his selection as the best choice for the Movement and its numerous members.

“On behalf of the leadership of the stakeholders of Labour Party in Sokoto State and the Obedient faithful, we extend our warmest congratulations to Senator Nenadi Usman on her appointment as the Interim Chairperson of the Caretaker Committee of the Labour Party. We also congratulate Dr. Yunusa Tanko, the National Coordinator of the Obedient Movement worldwide.

“We hereby pledge our loyalty and support to the new party leadership. We are committed to utilizing our resources, expertise, and experience to promote our party’s interests and contribute to its leadership to achieve its desired objectives.

“This well-deserved recognition is evidence of your exceptional leadership qualities, and we are confident in your capacity to excel in your roles. As we look forward to the forthcoming National Convention, we pledge our unwavering support to your leadership and envision a reformed Labour Party that upholds transparency, accountability, and true democracy.

While congratulating the new leadership, Comrade Yawale appreciated their leader, Mr. Ifeanyi Ezeagu, for his support of the party in all its activities across the state and the North. He also urged party members to remain committed and cooperate with the new leadership to achieve better results and accomplishments.
