The City Boy Movement has unveiled its Office of the Women Leader, led by Hajiya Ummusalma Isyaku Rabiu, in a move aimed at strengthening women’s participation within the group.
The unveiling was conducted by the Movement’s Patron, Seyi Tinubu, alongside the National Director-General, Francis Oluwatosin Shoga. The event was attended by stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other party members.
According to the organisers, the initiative is part of efforts to establish a structured Women Wing to support grassroots mobilisation, promote inclusive engagement, and enhance participation in political activities.
Hajiya Ummusalma Isyaku Rabiu, who now heads the office, is expected to coordinate programmes focused on women’s involvement in governance, voter education, and community advocacy.
The Movement noted that the structure would operate across national and grassroots levels to ensure wider reach and coordination.
The development comes as political groups begin early positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections, with increased emphasis on women’s role in political processes.
The City Boy Movement says it will continue to focus on strengthening internal structures and promoting participation within the APC.
