Xmas: CAN Lauds Jigawa Senator for Donation of Rice, Cash

The Christian communities in Jigawa State have commended Senator Babangida Hussaini for his generosity in donating rice and cash to Christians during the Christmas festivities.
The commendation was made through the Deputy Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Kazaure Local Government Area, Pastor Ochai Abho, in a statement issued and made available to National Update in Dutse, the state capital. The statement appreciated the senator’s kind gesture and support for Christian believers during the festive season.
According to the statement:
“The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) expresses its heartfelt appreciation to Senator Babangida Hussaini, representing Jigawa North-West (Walin Kazaure), for his generosity, kindness, and care towards his constituents, particularly the Christian community in the senatorial district.”
Pastor Abho noted that Senator Hussaini has consistently included the Christian community in his interventions, particularly during festive periods.
The statement further highlighted:
“During this Christmas celebration, the senator donated bags of rice and cash to Christians across the 12 local government areas of Jigawa North-West Senatorial Districts. We extend our sincere gratitude and special thanks to the distinguished senator for his continuous support and inclusion of Christians in all his interventions since assuming office. We deeply appreciate you.”
In a separate development, Senator Babangida Hussaini extended his condolences to the family of the late Elder Ayuba Bako, who passed away during a church service while celebrating his 50th marriage anniversary on Christmas Day in Kazaure.
Represented by Alhaji Umar Mega, the senator described the late Elder Ayuba as a man of peace, humility, and God-fearing character, who had lived in Kazaure for over 50 years with an unblemished record. He prayed for the family and urged them, along with the entire community, to view the loss as a test of faith.
