Yobe State APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali, has visited the Emirs of Jajere and Ngelzarma as part of his ongoing consultations with traditional rulers and stakeholders ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Alhaji Baba Mallam Wali was received by APC stakeholders and supporters in Tarmuwa and Fune Local Government Areas during the visits to the two traditional institutions.
Speaking at the palaces, the APC governorship candidate said the delegation was at the traditional rulers’ residences to seek their blessings and prayers ahead of the 2027 election.
He assured the royal fathers of his commitment to good governance, inclusive leadership, continuity and consolidation of the achievements recorded by the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni.
Wali commended the people of the areas for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage, urging APC supporters to remain united for the success of the party at all levels in the 2027 general elections.
Also speaking, the Yobe State APC Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, called on party supporters to remain loyal and committed to the APC at all levels.
In separate remarks, the Emirs of Jajere and Ngelzarma, Alhaji Mai Hamza Ibn Buba Mashio and Alhaji Mohammed Mai Yeri Ibn Isa II, respectively, commended the APC candidate for the visit and prayed for his success.
During the visit, the Emir of Jajere, Alhaji Mai Hamza Ibn Buba Mashio, conferred the prestigious traditional title of Sardaunan Jajere Emirate on Baba Mallam Wali.
Wali was accompanied by his running mate, Barrister Saleh Samanja; members of the Yobe State House of Assembly; members of the House of Representatives; commissioners; and other APC supporters across the state.
Gadaka explained that the visits were part of the party’s ongoing consultations with traditional rulers and stakeholders across Yobe State.
He added that the APC would return to the emirates during the formal campaign period, while thanking the traditional rulers for receiving the delegation and for their prayers, support and fatherly guidance.
