Yobe APC Launches Digital Overhaul, Trains 178-Ward Taskforce On E-Membership

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State has taken a major step toward a full digital transition with the training of a 178-ward technical taskforce on its new electronic membership registration system.
Held at the Summit Conference Hall, the intensive session equipped Zonal Administrators, all 17 Local Government Coordinators, and Ward Technical Agents with the skills to drive the party’s nationwide “Digital Leap” initiative at the grassroots.
The training,themed: “Focusing on Technology and Modernization,” focused on the hands-on operation of the new e-registration platform.
In his remarks,Amb. Dr. Adam K. Mohammed,Yobe State Coordinator APC Membership E-Registration Program said,Yobe State All Progressives Congress (APC) under the leadership of Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka (Billgate) is embarking on a comprehensive digital transformation of its membership database inline with our Digital Governor, Mai Mala Buni’s directives to ensure the success of this transition.
According to him,this sensitization and training workshop is convened to equip key field officers with the necessary technical expertise.
”The goal is to migrate from manual registers to a secure, real-time E-Registration platform. This ensures a credible membership register, eliminates duplicate entries, and allows for better planning and political strategy based on accurate data analytics.
“We have three zonal administrators, 17 local government coordinators, 178 ward technical agents, and 356 ward assistance agents. They are all computer-literate and well-equipped with the necessary gadgets and knowledge to conduct the e-registration of all party members”,Dr.Adam stated.
He charged the participants to go forth and execute this digital mandate with diligence, speed, and integrity. “They are the APC Digital Agents, the drivers of progress, Let’s work together to make the APC the most digitally-advanced, transparent, and connected political party in Africa.”
In a speech delivered on his behalf,the State Party Chairman, Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka,emphasized the strategic shift.
“This training empowers our ward-level agents to directly capture member data electronically, ensuring efficiency and reducing the errors of manual methods.
“Our core mission is ‘Connecting the Base: Mastering the Tools of Digital Enrollment”,said Gadaka.
The initiative,branded under the slogans”APC Digital Leap: Powering Membership, Perfecting Progress” and “E-Registration: The Future of APC Membership, Today,” aims to streamline membership management and enhance direct engagement with supporters.
